On the afternoon of April 2, the “AI Lighthouse Project—2026 Education Lingfeng Summit” was successfully held at Ningbo High-tech Zone Experimental School, attracting numerous education professionals to participate.

The summit brought together representatives from Ningbo’s education authorities, school principals, educational research experts, edtech partners, and frontline teachers. Centered around the theme “Digital Intelligence Empowering K12 Innovation,” they engaged in in-depth discussions, exploring how artificial intelligence and the essence of education can advance hand-in-hand, driving a smart upgrade of educational models.

Promoting the Symbiotic Integration of AI and Education

In her opening remarks, Huang Jiyuan, deputy director of the Intelligent Education Committee of the Ningbo Artificial Intelligence Society, stated that artificial intelligence is gradually reshaping the educational ecosystem. As a model region for smart education, Ningbo should proactively embrace technological change, adhering to a people-centered philosophy while deeply integrating technology with classroom practice. She expressed hope that this summit would inspire new ideas for leveraging AI in education and uncover innovative pathways for sustainable development.

School Principal Shu Xiaocui of the High-tech Zone Experimental School shared the institution’s practical experience as a pilot site for AI education in Zhejiang Province. By harnessing the “Lingdang” platform, the school has constructed the “Gaoshi Ling” smart campus system, digitizing the entire process of teaching, administration, and assessment. This ensures students’ growth trajectories are clearly visible, thoroughly documented, and warmly supported.

Shen Penghui, head of Alibaba Lingdang Education’s East China and Sichuan–Chongqing region, provided an in-depth analysis of the “data–model–execution” closed-loop mechanism in the AI era. He highlighted core features such as “AI Note-Taking” and the “Wukong Intelligent Agent,” showcasing the platform’s secure and efficient performance in lesson preparation, collaborative research, and application development. These tools help teachers boost productivity and lighten their daily workload.

Principal Zhao Dihui detailed the real-world operations of the “Gaoshi Ling” digital brain, covering more than ten use cases—including AI-powered homework grading, Sunshine Youth Comprehensive Assessment, and AI sports officiating. These applications enable data to be entered once and shared across all systems, significantly reducing teachers’ repetitive reporting tasks.

Senior expert Lao Fashi from Lingdang Education emphasized that the key to a successful campus brain lies in being “visible and calculable.” Through AI-assisted form-filling and AR-based virtual consultations, teachers save several hours each week on administrative chores, freeing up more time to focus on lesson design and student engagement—returning education to its original purpose.

Gao Mingyu, representing Hailiang Technology, introduced on-site teachers to AI-driven comprehensive evaluation and intelligent scheduling solutions. He demonstrated how AI supports schools across multiple dimensions—from assistant teaching and learning to assessment and management—ultimately enhancing both educational quality and operational efficiency.

This event not only showcased cutting-edge examples of deep AI–education integration but also firmly advocated the principle of “Education plus AI, not AI plus education”—technology should serve the fundamental purpose of education rather than replacing the emotional warmth of teacher–student interaction.

Effective immediately, Lingdang officially launches the “Wukong Education Co-creation Program.” Educators from Macau and other regions are invited to scan the QR code to join or click the link to read more and become part of this collaborative effort~
