Liu Xiaotian, DingTalk: Building the Next-Generation System for "Agent Collaboration"

In a keynote presentation, Liu Xiaotian, Solutions General Manager of DingTalk North China, delved into the core concept of "agent collaboration." He noted that the main bottleneck for large-scale AI implementation today is not the capability of the models themselves but the lack of a unified enterprise-grade operating environment. DingTalk is building a next-generation operating system based on Agent OS, enabling unified scheduling of digital tools and physical devices while fostering interaction and collaboration among agents. Under this framework, humans will shift from being executors to "coaches," focusing on setting goals and training AI while delegating repetitive, process-oriented tasks to agents.

Jiawo Group: AI in Action Behind a Single Blueberry

Li Meng, Vice President of Knowledge Management at Jiawo Group, delivered a presentation titled "The AI Journey of a Blueberry: AI Application Practices at Jiawo Group."

Li Meng, Vice President of Knowledge Management at Jiawo Group

Founded in 2012, Jiawo Group is a flagship company under Lenovo Holdings, specializing in modern agriculture and the food industry. It ranks 36th among China's Top 500 Agricultural Enterprises and serves as a benchmark for digital transformation in the industry.

Since 2020, Jiawo has been collaborating with DingTalk to build a knowledge-management-centered digital ecosystem, achieving cloud-based data management, knowledge accumulation, and full-process digitization of office operations. In particular, the introduction of the AI assistant "Xiao Jia" has significantly boosted employee satisfaction, cut new-employee training costs by half, and enabled frontline farmers to access expert advice anytime, with instant updates on best practices and one-stop administrative services.

After DingTalk launched AI Tables in 2025, Jiawo quickly became a heavy user. Through AI Tables, unstructured information previously scattered across verbal communication, WeChat messages, and notes has been consolidated into tagged, analyzable structured data, and multiple legacy reports have been condensed into a single real-time dashboard.

"Now I can input data directly into AI Tables using voice—it's incredibly convenient!" Li Meng said. This feature allows farmers working in the fields to easily record their experiences and data.

Originally an internal supply chain division of Haidilao, Shuhai has operated independently since 2014, transforming into a third-party supply chain service provider. Since introducing DingTalk in 2020, the company has effectively improved organizational collaboration. Starting in 2025, it has focused on advancing AI capabilities, deepening multiple agent application scenarios, and accelerating overall digital transformation.

Xing Yu demonstrated the practical benefits of AI in complex logistics distribution, intelligent restocking planning, and nationwide warehouse meeting management. "AI doesn't just replace human labor; it frees up human resources, allowing staff to focus on high-value service tasks," he said. By optimizing delivery routes with AI algorithms, the fulfillment rate has risen to 99%. Using AI-powered voice transcription and automatic analysis of meeting content, the issue closure rate exceeds 90%, significantly improving supply chain response speed and management transparency.

"We're covering all levels—from 'AI + business' and 'AI + organization' to 'AI + employees'—and working closely with DingTalk to deepen application scenarios and build an AI culture together."

He presented a set of data: An AI assistant rapidly incubated in the DingTalk knowledge base has been integrated into multiple work groups with over 500 members, with monthly usage exceeding 3,000 times and an accuracy rate of over 93%. Nearly half of the employees report a 20% to 50% increase in work efficiency after using AI tools.

By combining DingTalk OA approvals with AI Tables, the team successfully built an external support work management platform, creating a virtuous cycle where "process drives data, and data feeds back into the process."

"AI Tables are both technologically advanced and don't require coding," Yang Guo joked. "This platform, for example, was built by me and another engineer in just a few days."

The entire event was lively, sending a clear signal: The transformation of work in the AI era has entered a phase of deepened implementation. "Agent collaboration" is no longer just a concept—it is taking root across industries, serving as a crucial engine for strengthening organizational resilience, spurring innovation, and building future competitive advantages. Only by actively embracing change can individuals and enterprises seize the initiative and stay ahead in the AI wave.
