On December 23, at the AI DingTalk 1.1 product launch event, Xu Xiaoying, Executive Director of Youcheng Holdings Co., Ltd., shared her company’s eight-year deep collaboration with DingTalk as a model enterprise in manufacturing digital transformation. Focused on automotive parts manufacturing, actively embracing digital transformation
Founded in 1992, Youcheng specializes in high-precision automotive molds and high-end injection-molded parts, ranking among the global leaders in automotive lighting mold production. More than 70% of the top 100 most popular car models in China use Youcheng’s products. In 2017, when Xu Xiaoying returned to take over the company, it was in a period of rapid expansion, with the workforce growing from a few hundred to several thousand. Traditional email-based collaboration had become insufficient to support business growth. In early 2018, after extensive trials, Youcheng fully adopted DingTalk as its collaborative office platform.
DingTalk A1: Breaking down language barriers in international communication

She shared a typical case: This year, the chairman traveled to Mexico to meet with a Japanese client, communicating in Spanish on-site. Initially skeptical about using DingTalk A1, he called immediately after the meeting to praise its efficiency and practicality—the device not only delivered accurate real-time translations but also identified omissions in human translations, significantly enhancing communication quality. This experience prompted the company to purchase more than 50 units of DingTalk A1 in bulk, equipping management and expatriate staff across the board.
Order Assistant: Redefining core manufacturing processes
Xu Xiaoying emphasized that manufacturing companies are most concerned about AI’s ability to solve real-world pain points. The AI Agent "Order Assistant," specially designed by DingTalk for the manufacturing industry, is a result of joint development with Youcheng.
In the past, order conversion was a longstanding pain point for Youcheng, requiring regional sales and technical teams to handle manually—time-consuming, labor-intensive, and low in added value. After introducing the "Order Assistant," the time required to process a single order dropped from 1 hour to under 1 minute, and the number of staff needed was reduced from 7 to 2. Original team members have transitioned to higher-value roles, becoming "champions" for promoting internal AI applications. Since going live, the "Order Assistant" has quickly attracted attention and interest from more than 20 manufacturing companies.
