Recently, Beijing Science and Technology Press (hereinafter referred to as "BSTP") and DingTalk (China) Information Technology Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as "DingTalk") jointly signed a strategic cooperation agreement at the Chaoyang Science Park in Wangjing, Beijing. Zeng Qingyu, Chairman of BSTP, and Vice General Manager Wang Xin, along with DingTalk Vice President Xiong Weiyi and DingTalk's Head of the Culture and Media Industry, Hu Jiang, attended the signing ceremony. The two parties will work together to implement BSTP's collaborative office platform, creating a unified digital platform and jointly establishing a benchmark for digitalization in the publishing industry.
Founded in 1981, Beijing Science and Technology Press has developed over four decades into a comprehensive publishing house integrating book publishing, audio-visual publishing, electronic publishing, internet publishing, and journal publishing. Based in Beijing and serving the entire country, BSTP adheres to a publishing strategy focused on professionalism, high quality, and distinctiveness. It has published more than 10,000 titles, with many books receiving national and industry awards, including the China Publishing Government Award, the Chinese Excellent Publication Award, the National Outstanding Science Popularization Work Award, the Wenjin Book Award, and the CPC Central Propaganda Department's Annual Themed Book Award.
Xiong Weiyi extended a warm welcome to the BSTP delegation and shared DingTalk's significant investments in AI and the achievements it has made in recent years. He noted that BSTP possesses an exceptionally rich pool of unstructured data and a wide range of application scenarios. He expressed his anticipation that, through comprehensive cooperation with BSTP, AI can be effectively leveraged to drive scenario innovation and advance the industry's digital and intelligent transformation.

Zeng Qingyu stated that this research visit and exchange exceeded expectations, highlighting DingTalk's strong commitment to its clients and projects. He expressed confidence that the two sides will successfully implement the project and emphasized the importance of strengthening strategic planning. He also expressed his hope that DingTalk will apply new technologies to BSTP, thereby advancing the digitalization of BSTP and the broader publishing industry.

In this strategic collaboration, the two parties signed a comprehensive cooperation agreement, established a detailed roadmap and timeline, and formed a dedicated team to ensure the efficient implementation of the partnership. Leveraging its years of experience in the publishing industry, BSTP will serve as a solution strategy partner, working with DingTalk to develop a universal digital solution for the publishing industry and digital business products. DingTalk, in turn, will act as a digital transformation strategy partner, providing tools and technical support to BSTP based on its own digital product capabilities.

In the next phase, BSTP and DingTalk will focus on mapping out digitalization needs around core business scenarios such as content creation and editorial production. With the goal of enhancing the efficiency of the publishing industry and exploring application scenarios for AI assistants and low-code tools in the publishing sector, the two parties will engage in co-creation. By fostering mutual business growth, they aim to jointly develop a universal digital solution for the publishing industry.
