DingTalk AI Table Assistant Officially Launched
On September 23, the DingTalk AI Table Assistant officially launched. All users can access it in the latest version of AI Tables by clicking "Create AI Table" or the AI button at the top of the page.
Upgraded to an Application Creation Platform for the AI Era
At the product launch event on August 25, DingTalk announced that, based on real co-creation with 300,000 enterprise customers, AI Tables has been upgraded to an application creation platform for the AI era. This upgrade brings a brand-new look, a fresh user experience, and several key AI capabilities, including the AI Table Assistant and field Agents.
Natural Language Generation for AI Applications
With the launch of the DingTalk AI Table Assistant, users can simply describe their ideas in natural language, and the assistant will automatically generate AI tables, automated workflows, and data dashboards—creating fully functional AI applications. This dramatically lowers the barrier to entry, enabling anyone to become an AI application creator.
Through the AI Table Assistant, users can input a single sentence, and AI will automatically build a table—from overall framework design and header refinement to formula setup, chart generation, and application creation—all without writing any code. The conversation is directly transformed into an actionable AI application.
Automated Workflows and Intelligent Analytics
AI can also automatically generate multi-node automated workflows, currently supporting hundreds of automation node configurations to solve complex business problems. For example, in inventory management, when the system detects an inventory anomaly, it will automatically trigger an alert and push a notification to the relevant personnel.
The AI assistant will also generate a visualized dashboard for each table and provide AI analytics features, helping users easily understand the data trends behind the charts.
30 New Field Agents Added
DingTalk AI Tables has added 30 new field agents, including multimodal AI capabilities such as AI video understanding and digital humans.
Content creators can use the "AI Video Understanding" field to quickly break down scripts; live-stream operators can leverage the "Digital Human" field to batch-generate explainer videos; and the "Format Conversion Tool" field allows users to efficiently and freely convert various types of files.
Field Agents are already widely used in enterprise production. For example, Shandong Weiqiao Pioneering Group has built an AI safety inspection system in AI Tables. After inspectors upload photos, the Agent automatically identifies image information and completes analyses such as hazard descriptions and rectification recommendations. Rectification notices are then pushed to the responsible parties via an automated workflow, significantly reducing accident rates.
Support for Workflows from Platforms Like Bailian and Coze
AI Tables now supports workflows from platforms like Bailian and Coze. Users can configure business processes built on these platforms into AI Tables with a single click, enabling cross-platform data aggregation and analysis.
Data Connection Center Connects 30+ Data Sources
DingTalk AI Tables has launched a Data Connection Center, which connects more than 30 high-frequency data sources at once. The initial set mainly includes three categories:
First, back-end systems from major e-commerce platforms, such as Business Advisor, Alimama, Douyin Shop Back-end, Magic Compass, and E-commerce Compass, supporting cross-platform management of data from stores on Tmall, Taobao, JD.com, Douyin, and Vipshop.
Second, collaborative application data sources, including DingTalk's internal data such as OA approvals, Teambition, and attendance tracking, as well as SaaS applications like JianDaoYun and JinData.
Third, practical tool-based data sources, such as foreign exchange rates, Xiaolanben, Fushu Technology, and MySQL database types.
With the launch of the Data Connection Center, users no longer need to manually export and upload data. With simple configuration, data updates occur automatically, making it easy to aggregate information across platforms and stores. For example, an e-commerce brand can automatically synchronize store operating data from Taobao to AI Tables for analysis, efficiently monitoring daily operations, anomalies, and potential risks—and promptly alerting responsible parties via DingTalk.
