EnglishOn September 9, Alibaba DingTalk and Anhui Qisu Technology Co., Ltd. jointly hosted the "Intelligent Manufacturing · AI Leadership — Wuhu Manufacturing Industry Digital Transformation Promotion Conference" in Wuhu, Anhui.
The conference was held against the backdrop of the nation's efforts to promote high-quality development of the manufacturing industry. It represents a joint effort by government, enterprises, academia, and research institutions to accelerate the digital, high-end, intelligent, and green transformation of Wuhu's manufacturing sector. At the event, the Wuhu Municipal Bureau of Industry and Information Technology and the Municipal Development and Reform Commission presented national and provincial policies supporting equipment upgrades.
As an AI-powered application under Alibaba, DingTalk has been helping Chinese enterprises transition from paper-based offices to mobile and digital work environments with zero barriers to entry. Data shows that more than 8,000 local Wuhu businesses are using DingTalk, with manufacturing companies accounting for nearly one-quarter of the total. Sixty percent of Wuhu's specialized, niche, and innovative enterprises use DingTalk. Companies on Wuhu's automotive industry chain, such as Shunfu Precision and EYITEK, as well as well-known local firms like Hailuo Entrepreneurship Group and Yangzi College, are all using DingTalk.
In his speech, Zhu Zi, Vice Mayor of Wuhu, said, "Wuhu is a city with deep historical roots and an open, inclusive spirit. It is also a city brimming with innovation and thriving industries. Wuhu boasts a complete range of industrial categories and a well-developed industrial system. The manufacturing sector covers all 31 major manufacturing categories in the national economic classification, and ten emerging industries—including new energy and intelligent connected vehicles, high-end equipment manufacturing, and artificial intelligence—are growing rapidly."
At the conference, several "star" local Wuhu enterprises signed agreements with DingTalk, including Anhui EYITEK Electronic Technology Co., Ltd. and Wuhu Sterry Steering Systems Co., Ltd. from the auto parts industry chain; Wuhu Aerospace Automotive Connecting Rod Co., Ltd.; China's only wholly Chinese-owned company specializing in regional aircraft engine maintenance, Huaxia Yuntian Aircraft Engine Maintenance Co., Ltd.; Anhui Feilong New Materials Co., Ltd. and Anhui Meijia New Materials Co., Ltd., representatives of the new materials industry; Wuhu Tongchao Precision Machinery Co., Ltd.; and Anhui Yangzi Vocational and Technical College, among others.

Anhui Shunfu Precision Technology Co., Ltd.
Shunfu Precision is a national-level "Little Giant" specialized, niche, and innovative enterprise headquartered in Nanling County, Wuhu City. The company focuses on the R&D, production, and sales of precision aluminum alloy die castings, with products widely used in the automotive, energy storage, telecommunications, and lighting sectors. Over the past seven years, Shunfu Precision has used DingTalk to achieve a transformation and upgrade from traditional IT systems to a fully digital operation. Anhui Yangzi Vocational and Technical College
Anhui Yangzi Vocational and Technical College was established in April 2011. Over the past five years, the college has built an integrated smart campus ecosystem, using DingTalk as its digital foundation. It has successfully digitized core operations, including administrative management, teaching evaluation, student services, and talent development. With 14,000 faculty and students using DingTalk across the campus, approval efficiency has greatly improved, paper document usage has plummeted, and the college has completely moved away from the challenges of manual processes typical of traditional universities. This provides a replicable digital transformation model for modernizing higher education.
The two sides will jointly build a digital talent training system, co-develop cutting-edge curriculum modules in artificial intelligence and low-code development, and create a "industry-demand-oriented" professional matrix at Yangzi College. They will also establish a regional digital economy talent training base, which will serve as a hub for the Yangtze River Delta's industry-education integration ecosystem.
