EnglishFrom December 5 to 7, 2024, the 5th Western China Digital Economy Expo (hereafter referred to as "Western Digital Expo") was grandly held at the Xi'an International Convention and Exhibition Center.
This year's expo adopted a "conference + exhibition + competition" format, focusing on international cooperation in the digital economy and the integration with the real economy. It aims to build an industry exchange and collaboration platform, showcasing practical solutions that highlight the characteristics of Digital China and Xi'an. Li Wei, General Manager of DingTalk's Government, Education, and Financial Industries, attended the conference and delivered a speech titled "DingTalk: A New Quality of Productivity in the AI Era," sharing DingTalk's innovative practices and achievements in the digital economy.
DingTalk is the first domestic collaborative office platform to implement large models in office scenarios. Since deciding to strategically invest in AI in April 2023, DingTalk has completed full intelligent upgrades for 20 product lines and over 80 scenarios based on AI. It has integrated seven industry-wide general-purpose large models, creating a more open AI assistant platform foundation and building an AI assistant marketplace with hundreds of thousands of agents. This year, DingTalk officially announced the full opening of its underlying models, and the number of enterprises using DingTalk AI has now exceeded 2.2 million.

Take the government sector as an example: The three key tasks of drafting documents, organizing meetings, and handling affairs encapsulate the core daily work of government employees. The traditional official document writing process is cumbersome, with an average of about 3 hours required from idea generation to final issuance. DingTalk's intelligent document writing feature reduces this process to just 30 minutes, significantly boosting the efficiency of government staff in document management.
In addition, Li Wei also introduced various AI solutions and customer cases applied across different industries, including business data analytics, intelligent approvals, smart travel, and AI quality inspection, which attracted widespread attention.
Addressing the issue of AI safety and compliance—of primary concern to industry clients—Li Wei provided on-site answers. DingTalk supports localized deployment of enterprise AI solutions and can adopt a hybrid cloud architecture to ensure customer data security, providing strong support for the smooth implementation of enterprises' intelligent transformation.
