EnglishIn recent days, DingTalk has completed the "Data Security Management Certification" after passing a data security assessment conducted by the China Cybersecurity Review and Certification Center (CCRC) and the Market Regulation Big Data Center. DingTalk has become the first product in the instant messaging software category to receive this certification.
The Data Security Management Certification is currently the most authoritative compliance certification in China's data security field. It is guided by the State Administration for Market Regulation and the Cyberspace Administration of China, and implemented by the CCRC.
This certification is primarily based on national standards (GB/T 41479 "Information Security Technology—Security Requirements for Network Data Processing" and related standards and specifications). It regulates enterprises' data security management practices and data lifecycle processing activities, covering 21 chapters and 293 inspection items.
Data security management refers to a series of management activities undertaken by organizations to ensure data security when conducting data processing activities such as collection, storage, use, processing, transmission, provision, and disclosure. It aims to encourage network operators to standardize network data processing activities through certification and strengthen the protection of network data security. By assessing and certifying the compliance, effectiveness, and reliability of data processing activities, it helps organizations enhance the security of their data processing operations and safeguard the value of their data assets.
Passing this assessment and certification signifies that DingTalk has once again received a nationally recognized authority-level certification in data security protection, and it also affirms the safety and reliability of DingTalk's products and services.
The certification adopts a "technical verification + on-site audit" model, conducting a comprehensive review and verification of DingTalk's data security organizational structure, data security management system, cloud service platform data classification and grading, data security risk prevention and control, full-process control of data processing activities, data security emergency management, and human resource support and evaluation. Based on assessments in dimensions such as compliance, suitability, and operational effectiveness, DingTalk has passed the CCRC's Data Security Management Certification audit, making it the "first" company in the instant messaging software sector to officially receive this certification.

As early as August 2023, DingTalk passed a dual assessment by the China Cybersecurity Review and Certification Center (CCRC) and the National Information Technology Security Research Center, completing the "Mobile Internet Application (APP) Security Certification" and becoming the first brand in the office sector to receive this certification.
In December 2024, the China Academy of Information and Communications Technology (CAICT) announced the results of the first batch of Trusted AI Cloud Assessments, and DingTalk was awarded the "Advanced Level" certification in the "Enterprise SaaS Integrated AI Capability Assessment." This is the highest rating under this standard certification. The assessment was conducted based on the standard "Requirements for Enterprise SaaS Integrated AI Capabilities," focusing on six major capability domains—including security and compliance—and 95 test items to comprehensively evaluate DingTalk's AI capabilities.
Zhu Tong, a DingTalk data security expert, stated that obtaining the Data Security Management Certification, which aligns with China's Data Security Law and Personal Information Protection Law, signifies that DingTalk has reached a leading level in national standards for both technical and managerial requirements across the entire data processing lifecycle.
