All enterprise users can simply search for keywords such as "AI Travel," "Travel Car," "Flights," or "Hotels" within the latest version of DingTalk to activate the related services for free, with no upfront fees or additional charges. At the same time, this version also fully launches several smart tools, including AI Print, AI Transcription, and real-time simultaneous translation.
Helping SMEs Reduce Travel Burdens
DingTalk AI Travel is specifically designed for small and medium-sized enterprises with fewer than 500 employees. It integrates Amap Ride-Hailing and Alipay Enterprise Payment, covering four major travel needs: flights, hotels, train tickets, and car rentals. Compared with other corporate travel platforms, AI Travel connects directly to the systems of mainstream hotel chains such as Jinjiang, Home Inn, Dongcheng, Hodo, and Yast, ensuring more competitive booking prices. Its built-in AI price-comparison engine automatically scans information across the web, displaying real-time price comparisons from multiple platforms to help users quickly choose the best deal.
For employees who frequently work on the road, the AI Travel assistant greatly simplifies trip planning: With just a single sentence describing their needs—even complex itineraries involving multiple cities—the system can generate the optimal travel plan within 30 seconds and automatically create a travel request form, eliminating the tedious process of manual form-filling.
Even more convenient is the "seamless reimbursement" car service launched in partnership with Amap. After employees submit an outbound or business trip itinerary, they can request a ride directly in the approval form or by searching for "Amap Ride-Hailing." Once the trip is completed, the relevant invoices and trip data are automatically linked to the corresponding request form, completely eliminating the hassle of collecting paper receipts one by one. In terms of payment, thanks to Alipay's enterprise code pay-on-behalf function, employees do not need to advance funds, and businesses can flexibly enable the service based on actual needs.
For management, AI Travel provides professional control tools that support customized travel policies—for example, setting flight booking windows, maximum hotel rates, or train seat classes. The system can also generate consumption breakdowns and rankings by department or individual, making travel expenses transparent and effectively monitorable.
The HR manager at Hangzhou-based robotics company Yuanli Wuxian compared pricing between DingTalk and other platforms and immediately decided to adopt this service. Even if their foreign-language skills are limited, they can confidently handle overseas trips or international conferences.
The newly added face-to-face simultaneous-translation feature not only provides real-time subtitles but also supports voice playback. Users simply need to wear standard Bluetooth headphones to achieve real-time translation between multiple languages, including Chinese, English, and Japanese. They can also set each earbud to play a different language, allowing two people wearing one earbud each to communicate smoothly. In DingTalk video conferences, the system supports multilingual two-way simultaneous interpretation, allowing each participant to choose the language they are most comfortable with. After the meeting, the system automatically generates meeting minutes and action items, greatly improving the efficiency of cross-border collaboration.
