On November 24, Semir officially launched Dason 3.0, an AI-powered collaboration platform for its employees. As a one-stop AI agent workspace within Semir, the platform is accessible to all staff. It integrates business agents, a design brain, a knowledge base, an AI toolkit, and best practices for internal AI applications—serving as the core vehicle for Semir’s organizational transformation and work-style upgrade in the AI era.

Dason 3.0 Covers All Business Scenarios

Built on Alibaba Cloud and seamlessly integrated with DingTalk, Dason 3.0 fully empowers Semir across a wide range of scenarios—from core business execution to cutting-edge creative exploration—making AI ubiquitous throughout the organization. “It’s not just a system; it’s a window to the future,” said Lu Lina, Senior Director of Semir’s Digital Center.

Semir has long collaborated with DingTalk, having fully digitized communication, meetings, OA, and other office processes since the platform’s launch. Subsequently, DingTalk Teambition gradually covered departments such as the Digital Center, Finance, and Audit, and Semir successively enabled DingTalk Live, online documents, AI Tables, and AI Assistants, making DingTalk Semir’s unified office collaboration portal.

In 2022, Semir established the “Digital Center,” consolidating data resources from departments such as Merchandise, Sales, and E-commerce. In early 2023, as AI gained momentum, the company formed an AI task force, focusing on high-value, small-scale use cases to drive implementation across business units. In October of the same year, Dason 1.0 went live, marking the official start of Semir Group’s unified AIGC infrastructure development.

In early 2025, Semir Chairman Qiu Jianqiang emphasized in his New Year letter: AI is not an option—it’s a matter of survival. As a result, AI applications have risen from localized pilots to a company-wide strategy.

Today, “AI for All” has become a daily practice for Semir’s more than 3,000 employees. The newly upgraded Dason 3.0 workspace integrates AI productivity tools from 13 departments. At the launch event, key AI leaders from multiple departments demonstrated project outcomes on-site, attracting hundreds of employees at Semir’s Shanghai headquarters and over 1,000 participants online.

At Semir, whether you’re a customer service representative, designer, buyer, or store salesperson—or a frontline employee or manager—you can find a tailored AI assistant through Dason 3.0.

Currently, Semir has created more than 600 AI assistants based on the DingTalk AI Assistant platform, widely used in core business scenarios such as administration, human resources, production, merchandise planning, and logistics. In the future, all these AI assistants will be integrated into the Dason 3.0 platform.

Dason 3.0 Will Gradually Integrate All AI Agents

For example, “AI Sen Coach,” built on DingTalk, is an AI agent specifically designed for sales associates. Store staff can use this assistant through Dason 3.0 to simulate high-frequency scenarios such as customer in-store consultations and outfit recommendations. The system instantly evaluates the quality of sales pitches and service attitudes, generating personalized improvement suggestions to effectively boost sales performance.

Take the mid-platform AI agent “Senbao” as an example. Previously, handling abnormal shipping orders required multiple manual steps and took at least 60 seconds; after integrating with Dason 3.0, the entire process is automated in just 5 seconds—a 1,100% efficiency boost.

The design team previously faced challenges with switching between multiple platforms and scattered design assets. Dason 3.0’s “AI Design Brain” eliminates the need to switch between design tools and automatically archives creative content as personal and corporate digital assets. Compared to general-purpose design tools, this system generates highly precise assets that align with Semir’s brand style and pattern requirements, truly bridging the gap from “usable” to “ready-to-use.”

According to Mao Jiyi, Dean of the School of Entrepreneurship and Management at ShanghaiTech University, when companies apply AI, they must focus not only on boosting productivity but also on reconfiguring production relationships.
