"People e Home" has now become an essential mobile reporting tool for all staff at the newspaper, integrating dozens of systems across departments—such as communication tools, global video conferencing platforms, and administrative/financial systems—to break down information silos and enable frictionless collaboration.
The Smart Media Platform comprises five major modules: command and dispatch, hotspot tracking, dissemination effectiveness analysis, performance evaluation, and an AI toolkit. These modules connect the entire digital workflow—from task assignment and topic planning to content creation, multi-channel distribution, and feedback analysis—comprehensively optimizing the newspaper's coverage of the Two Sessions.
During the Two Sessions, reporters leveraged these two platforms to efficiently conduct interviews and collaborate on editing at key events such as press conferences, the Ministers' Corridor, plenary sessions of the NPC and CPPCC, and Foreign Ministry briefings, quickly producing high-quality reports.
On the content production side, a one-stop closed-loop process covering planning, reporting, editing, and review has been implemented via the mobile app, resulting in a smoother collaborative experience. From a management perspective, "People e Home" has established a unified "digital brain," seamlessly integrating daily office operations with newsroom workflows for greater efficiency and convenience.
