In his opening address, Zhang Wei, Secretary of the Guangling District Party Committee, stated, “The era of artificial intelligence has already arrived. Guangling has placed AI at the core of its ‘513’ industrial system and is leveraging the city’s first AI industrial park to accelerate its layout in cutting-edge technological fields.” He noted that the park currently hosts over 600 related companies, employs nearly 30,000 people, and continues to expand in scale with strong growth momentum.

Zhang Hao, Product Solution Architect at Alibaba’s Wukong Business Unit, explained that DingTalk Wukong is not a conventional AI chat tool but rather an enterprise-grade intelligent assistant capable of helping users accomplish real-world business tasks. The system adopts a four-layer logical architecture, boosting productivity while ensuring data security and regulatory compliance for enterprises.

Wukong boasts seven key features: it serves both developers and general users; includes a built-in sandbox environment to isolate documents and networks; supports access via enterprise-specific VPC models; implements closed-loop skill management to prevent external data contamination; operates precisely through native interfaces, avoiding errors caused by simulated clicks; offers a rich library of ready-to-use skills templates on its homepage; and serves up to 800 million users and over 20 million corporate organizations.
“We are committed to building an AI platform that is ‘useful, easy to use, and deployable,’” Zhang Hao emphasized. “By ‘useful,’ we mean genuinely transforming business processes; ‘easy to use’ refers to intuitive operation and broad adoption; and ‘deployable’ ensures enterprises can implement it with confidence. The World’s First “Wukong Community” Officially Launched
At the conference, guests including Jiao Qingbiao, Deputy Secretary of the Yangzhou Municipal Party Committee; Ye Meilan, President of Nanjing University of Posts and Telecommunications; Xingming, Deputy General Manager of Alibaba Cloud’s Strategic Development Department; and Lu Xiaoman, General Manager of the DingTalk Service Center, jointly launched the world’s first DingTalk “Wukong Community.” The community is structured around four main initiatives: training and empowerment, joint innovation, benchmark case development, and ecosystem operations—helping local enterprises transition from simply building computing power to deeply applying AI in new ways.

The Wuchuang Dazhi Collaborative Future Industry Innovation Center was officially inaugurated, and proposed investment projects for the Artificial Intelligence Industry Fund were announced simultaneously. The conference also featured video presentations showcasing real-world AI agent applications from ten companies within the Yangzhou Artificial Intelligence Industrial Park, covering diverse scenarios such as smart manufacturing, urban governance, and cultural content creation, underscoring the tangible impact of technology implementation.
AI Agent Application Innovation Challenge Launched
Deputy President Han Jie of Yangzhou University, together with Sun Yan, Director of the China E-Commerce Research Institute, and other distinguished guests, launched the “AI Agent Application Scenario Innovation Challenge.” Open to government departments, university research institutions, innovation teams, and individual developers from Shanghai, Yangzhou, and beyond, the competition focuses on themes such as industrial upgrading, enhanced consumer experiences, and improved public services, aiming to inspire more creative applications.
More Than 20 Key AI Projects Signed
The conference concluded with four rounds of key project signings, bringing over twenty AI-related initiatives to Guangling District. These include HarmonyOS ecosystem applications, digital sales centers, smart ports, underground utility monitoring systems, smart home hubs, low-altitude radar systems, unmanned retail kiosks, and intelligent fall-prevention wearable devices—spanning both technological R&D and practical public service applications.
Demonstration: Wukong Integrates All of DingTalk’s Ecosystem Features
During the enterprise roadshow session, Yu Shuheng, an expert from DingTalk’s AI Consulting Research Institute, demonstrated Wukong’s practical capabilities live. Built upon DingTalk’s ecosystem, Wukong integrates five core modules: system permission control, full-chain ecosystem integration, an intelligent scheduling engine, a knowledge accumulation mechanism, and autonomous execution of complex tasks. It currently connects DingTalk’s instant messaging, document collaboration, knowledge base, task management, OA approvals, AI note-taking, and AI spreadsheets, delivering remarkable efficiency in e-commerce product selection, content generation, and rapid website construction.
The Yangzhou Artificial Intelligence Exhibition Hall (Guangling Science and Technology Museum) Officially Opens
Following this, the Yangzhou Artificial Intelligence Exhibition Hall—also known as the Guangling Science and Technology Museum—was officially opened.
