On May 21, the 2026 DingTalk Summit—Chengdu Station was grandly unveiled in the city of Chengdu. At the event, DingTalk Wukong signed strategic cooperation agreements on-site with four organizations: Sichuan Jule Food, Sanshui Group, Tibet Pharmaceutical, and Chongqing Fumin Bank. Meanwhile, three companies—Changhong New Net, Tieqi Lishi, and KeRuyun—shared their practical experiences in applying artificial intelligence. Centered around the theme “Wukong—the world’s first enterprise-grade AI-native work platform,” the summit presented attendees with a blueprint for intelligent office transformation, shifting from “human-driven” to “Agent-driven” workflows.
Government and Enterprises Join Hands to Explore New Opportunities in Intelligent Transformation
During the summit, Chen Wentao, Deputy Director of the Sichuan Provincial Informationization Office, and Huang Peng, Director of the Intelligent Development Division at the Sichuan Provincial Department of Economy and Information Technology, were present to provide guidance and engage in discussions.
Over its more than ten years of operation, DingTalk has served nearly 26 million enterprises and organizations, including over 190,000 paying customers. Entering the new AI era, DingTalk launched the “Wukong” platform, embracing the principles of “autonomous execution, scenario integration, and accessibility for all.” This initiative aims to elevate AI from a supporting tool to a digital partner capable of independently handling complex tasks. A live demonstration area showcased DingTalk’s AI-powered transcription system, which automatically generates meeting minutes that can be organized, archived, and shared across relevant groups—highlighting a future where AI is fully integrated into every stage of meetings.
Changhong New Net: Enterprises Are Building Their Own “Smart Brains”
Chen Yun, Head of the Digital Transformation Department at Sichuan Changhong New Net Technology Co., Ltd., outlined a three-stage theory for corporate AI development: Stage 1.0 focuses on foundational data infrastructure; Stage 2.0 emphasizes seamless inter-system collaboration; and Stage 3.0 leverages AI for predictive analytics and intelligent decision-making.
With the core objectives of improving internal efficiency and creating external value, Changhong New Net developed the “New Net Technology” smart workspace based on DingTalk’s exclusive version. The company established a four-tier knowledge base, accumulating intellectual assets spanning 15 business domains, and successfully implemented five flagship applications: automated operational analysis meetings, an intelligent SOP assistant for new hires, a “Carbon-Silicon Collaboration” system for managing the full lifecycle of contracts, intelligent oversight of project workflows, and digital human resource management. Chen Yun emphasized that AI’s role should evolve from a “smart assistant” to a “digital employee,” ultimately becoming a high-level strategist equipped with insights, forecasting capabilities, and deductive reasoning.
Tieqi Lishi: Building an Intelligent Operating System for the Agri-Food Industry
Zhou Zichao, Head of the IT Department at Sichuan Tieqi Lishi Industrial Group, shared the company’s achievements in applying AI across multiple scenarios. As a modern agri-food conglomerate operating in 22 provinces and municipalities nationwide, with over 150 subsidiaries, Tieqi Lishi holds a leading position in feed production, hog farming, egg chicken breeding, and food retail.
Through digital transformation, the finance team was streamlined from 200 to just 12 members, reducing the reimbursement process from 15 days to one day, while per capita document processing capacity increased tenfold over five years. At the same time, process efficiency, per capita revenue, order interaction rates, and product profitability all saw significant improvements. Leveraging DingTalk’s AI technology, the group held nearly 1.5 million minutes of meetings annually, averaging 22 sessions per day. AI transcription generated over 160 million characters of meeting notes, and the company built nearly 500 AI assistants and more than 3,000 AI tables. Applications like “one-sentence data queries” and “Wukong’s scheduled collection of egg and hog market prices with automatic notifications” have enabled frontline managers to use AI with virtually no technical barriers.
KeRuyun: From Tool Utilization to AI-Dominated Operations
Liu Tengfei, IT Director at KeRuyun Technology (Chengdu), reviewed the three developmental stages his company experienced on the DingTalk platform: introducing communication and attendance features in 2015, rebuilding the process center in 2018, and upgrading to DingTalk’s exclusive version in 2022, strengthening triple-layered security protections encompassing devices, networks, and accounts.
As the company entered the AI era, it now actively uses over 1,400 AI tables internally, maintaining a dual-track system of “all-purpose AI assistants” and specialized “K-smart” tools tailored to specific business needs. Its knowledge base exceeds 1,000 articles, with question-answering accuracy consistently above 95%. An IT colleague developed an AI table solution in just two days, successfully automating check-in, personalized poster generation, prize draws, and gift delivery for events involving thousands of participants—demonstrating remarkable agility and scalability.
From “Human-Driven” to “Agent-Driven”: A New Benchmark for Corporate AI Strategy
Wang Teng, Regional Director of the Wukong Business Unit within Alibaba Group’s ATH division, noted that by 2026, companies are no longer debating whether or not to adopt AI, but rather focusing on selecting the right platform and determining the optimal timing for deployment. He advised businesses to prioritize 1–3 quantifiable, closed-loop scenarios with the potential to boost efficiency tenfold, cultivate hybrid talent possessing both AI expertise and deep business insight, and initially aim to increase per capita output by 30%–80%. Simultaneously, he urged steady reinforcement of underlying digital infrastructure, platform selection, and knowledge management systems.
Hands-On Experience: Wukong Practical Training Camp
In the “Wukong Practical Training Camp,” AI transformation expert Jiang Li guided participants through the core operational skills of the Wukong platform, using real-world case studies to highlight key strategic considerations. As AI technology becomes increasingly accessible, companies that effectively harness its power can not only enhance efficiency and reduce costs, but also free up human resources to focus on core business innovation, exceed customer expectations, and achieve breakthroughs at the strategic level.
Attendees also had the opportunity to experience DingTalk’s flagship AI hardware firsthand.
Digital transformation is an ongoing journey, with artificial intelligence serving as the driving force behind industrial upgrades. Taking this summit as a starting point, DingTalk Wukong will collaborate with local industry partners in Chengdu to co-create a localized smart ecosystem, helping western China advance toward high-quality development and ushering in a new chapter of intelligent evolution.
