DingTalk and Insta360 Ecosystem Collaboration Realized: AI Conference All-in-One Device Insta360 Connect Officially Released

On December 17, DingTalk Meetings' partner Insta360 officially launched its first AI dual-camera video conferencing all-in-one device — the Insta360 Connect. As a tangible result of the deepened collaboration between the two companies, this product builds on the technological foundation of DingTalk's F2 video conferencing all-in-one and has passed DingTalk Meetings certification. Together, they have created a new room-based hardware-and-software integrated solution, revolutionizing the enterprise video conferencing experience.

With the rise of hybrid work, enterprises are placing higher demands on conferencing products in hybrid meeting scenarios. A high-definition, stable audio and video experience is crucial for ensuring meeting efficiency and quality.

As Insta360's first AI video conferencing all-in-one device, the Insta360 Connect integrates a 4K dual camera, a 14-microphone array, and advanced AI algorithms. It is designed specifically for small to medium-sized conference rooms accommodating 6–14 people. The all-in-one hardware, paired with DingTalk's conferencing system, delivers high-definition picture quality, precise speaker tracking, and intelligent whiteboard recognition, ensuring smooth and efficient meetings.

In terms of smart hardware, the Insta360 Connect features a 4K ultra-high-definition dual camera, combining a 110° wide-angle lens equipped with a 1/1.3-inch flagship sensor and a 48-megapixel telephoto dual-axis gimbal lens. The two lenses work in synergy, intelligently coordinating to capture both the overall scene of the meeting and distant details with clarity. With the help of AI super-resolution algorithms, the device effortlessly tracks speakers while delivering sharp, clear images, making the meeting experience smoother and more seamless.

To better present the speaking scene during meetings and keep speakers always in focus, intelligent and precise framing capabilities are essential. The Insta360 Connect offers multi-modal speaker tracking, creatively integrating sound source localization, voiceprint, face, and lip movement recognition technologies. It accurately identifies and tracks speakers, ensuring that voices are perfectly aligned and speakers are always in the "center of attention." Group framing mode automatically adjusts the shot to ensure that every participant is visible in the frame. Meanwhile, the intelligent gallery mode provides an independent video window for each attendee, truly enabling equitable meetings. In scenarios such as meeting presentations and remote education, the Connect can also intelligently recognize whiteboards and automatically correct and enhance the image and text, making presentation sessions more engaging.

In terms of audio quality, the Connect features a built-in 14-microphone array that enables omnidirectional audio pickup from ultra-long distances. Paired with advanced intelligent 3A algorithms for noise reduction and voice enhancement, it captures sound from up to 10 meters away without distortion. No matter where in the conference room you are, your voice sounds as clear as if you were speaking face-to-face, with rich and natural tone.

On the other hand, many modern conference rooms feature glass curtain walls, which can cause echoes and noise as sound reflects off desks and glass surfaces, negatively impacting the meeting experience. Based on its built-in AI audio algorithms, the Connect can automatically identify the acoustic environment of the conference room, delivering a customized audio experience that minimizes echo interference, ensuring that every participant's voice is heard clearly and distinctly.

Hardware-software synergy elevates professional cloud conferencing experience

With the advancement of AI technology and the "Internet of Everything," intelligent office environments have become the new normal in the workplace. Meeting needs such as information communication, analysis, discussion, and decision-making require conferencing equipment to go beyond just high-definition display and clear audio; interactive features like writing, annotating, and screen sharing on conferencing software are equally important.

Thanks to the deep integration between the Insta360 Connect and DingTalk Meetings Rooms system, no additional connection steps are required. Users can quickly join meetings with a single click after powering on the device. They can directly use DingTalk's online intelligent conferencing features, enjoying an immersive meeting experience enabled by the seamless integration of hardware and software.

For screen sharing, users can utilize DingTalk's "auto-recommended projection code" for wireless screen sharing, eliminating the need for manual input and allowing one-click content sharing. In addition, the device supports multiple screen-sharing methods, including desktop projection, app projection, and extended-screen projection, helping users deliver more effective presentations during meetings.

The launch of the Insta360 Connect marks another major milestone in the collaboration between Insta360 and DingTalk on all-scenario collaboration solutions.

Since March 2022, DingTalk has announced its commitment to a fully ecosystem-based hardware strategy, unveiling five certification systems for DingTalk Meetings and launching the F2—a product designed as an open container for video conferencing—as a prototype bridging core technology and mass production. This collaboration between Insta360 and DingTalk builds on the technological foundation of the F2.
